Dear Elmer,
I am very pleased to hear your announcement on your show today, being May 24, 2023, that you have finally found a way to secure voters’ ID which Dr. Gong concurs as 98 percent successful. I congratulate you on your efforts.
Given this encouraging development, it is now an opportune time to ask you the following important questions:
1. When could the voting public be informed of the contents of the draft election rules?
2. When could the voting public be informed of the number of potential candidates?
3. When could the voting public be informed of the number of seats for the members of parliament?
You would agree that these are central questions which must be answered before each step of the voting procedure is to begin. You would also agree that steps to rectify issues arising from these question must precede the other steps in this procedure. Accordingly, the other issues of voters’ security etc. will surely fall into place once the above questions are satisfactorily answered.
I am asking these questions with the sole and honourable intention of helping the promotion of HKP’s establishment. I hope you would agree that by answering these questions to the satisfaction of the public is beneficial to the election procedure.
I sincerely wish that you could provide specific answers to my questions at your earliest convenience.
