As expected, Poon launched an all-out personal attack on Elmer in Poon’s program today.
Poon’s attack is based on Elmer inviting a character named Lee, head of Hong Kong’s “national security branch” to an open debate. Elmer also invited ten other ex-pandemocrats or their affiliates to the debate.
Poon views this invitation as an affront to them. He says that Elmer is turning a serious issue into a circus by them appearing together with a representative of the evil regime.
But I thought it has always been the ex-pandemocrats’ tactic to talk to the evil regime!
Ed Chin most certainly advocated dialogues with Emperor Xi and Eunuch Li in his fiery exchanges with Elmer! Should Chin be sanctioned then?
Notwithstanding the fact that not all of them will appear together, I am confused as to the reason why Poon views Elmer’s open invitation as a slap in the face.
