I am unfamiliar with YouTube’s rules, but it seems unreasonable to ask Elmer to remove the upload.
Elmer is the subject of the content.
Without Elmer there wouldn’t be any content.
It is unreasonable and unethical for Chin to benefit financially and gain exposure when Elmer is prevented from using the content in which he himself is the subject matter.
Unless the rules specifically prohibit Elmer, as the subject matter itself, from using the content in any way, Elmer should have the right to upload it.
If Chin puts in a copyright strike to YouTube against Elmer, Elmer could put in a counterstrike against Chin.
