I am sure that whoever is drafting the election rules is very confident of his or her skills.
Looking at the second draft, l don’t see how the drafter is willing to amend it in any big way.
That is a shame because in its present form it will be laughed at. I wonder what the EC members would think, if we make it that far. They should be experienced legislators familiar with examining legislations.
True, the individual sentences are well-written, but I have never seen a rule, regulation or act written like that. And I have studied a lot of them. It will make a very good declaration though. It will not make it in any other form. It is just not a piece of legislation, period.
